A Thoughtful Balance of Value and Comfort at Chitra AyurvedaDuring my visit to Chitra Ayurveda in Bentota, I experienced a blend of comfort and genuine hospitality, which is often hard to find at this price point. The location is convenient—a mere two-minute stroll to a beautiful, quiet beach, framed by charming coconut trees. The room was well-equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, and a comfortable bed, though the shower room could benefit from some updates. One standout feature was the warm, attentive service from Dr Chithra and her family, who were keen to ensure our needs were met, right from breakfast in the serene garden to thoughtfully arranged activities nearby, including a delightful turtle farm visit. While the railway line does add a unique character to the surroundings—trains rumble past regularly—it's essential to note this as part of the experience. If you’re seeking an ideal balance of luxury and value, Chitra Ayurveda warrants consideration for your next adventure in Sri Lanka.
